Miguel Herrero Herrero was born on Aug 01, 1985 in Spain. Miguel Herrero Herrero's big-screen debut came with Operasiones espesiales directed by Paco Soto in 2014.

PhD candidate in Psychology, Master in Research in Psychology, Bachelor of Psychopedagogy and Diploma in Teaching with the specialty of music. He worked for more than twelve years as a teacher in Primary and Secondary Education in various specialties: Therapeutic Pedagogy, Valencian Language and Literature, Music and Primary. At the same time, he is self-taught in film and through courses and master classes with Martin Scorsese, Oliver Stone, David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Werner Herzog, Robert McKee, etc. and at the same time as an illusionist with the influence of Juan Tamariz and Dani DaOrtiz. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain. He has directed, written or produced short films such as Good Night Spa (2021) by the Gallego Bros, The Last Christmas of the Universe (2019) by David Muñoz and Adrián Cardona, My Name is Koji (2018) by David Muñoz, Colores (2017) by Sami Natsheh and Arly Jones (Nominated for the Goya Award for Best Animated Short Film) or Hidden Devil (2017) by Fran Mateu, with more than a hundred official sections, and feature films such as Arcadeología (2021) by Mario-Paul Martínez, Operasiones Espesiales ( 2014) by Paco Soto and Proyecto USA (2015) in the direction. He has been a film critic for Cadena SER (Elda) and has written for Muy Historia and Miguel Hernández Communication Journal magazines. He is the founder and director of the Sax International Film Festival, with fifteen editions. Creates Cinestesia, a film and publishing company. He has directed and co-written with Vicente Vázquez the book DVD-ROM Mio Cid. By himself he has written a dozen books: Hiperficción, an interactive essay, Divas del cine, Metacine, Emoción, empatía y cine, Citas sobre cine, Cine japonés, Alucine, Magia, ilusionismos y cine, prefaced by Juan Tamariz, Nigromancia y arqueología Delaware los medio, Cine confinado, etc. He has also edited works such as The Tree of Lost Souls by Laura Zamora, nominated for a Goya Award for Best Animated Short Film. He performs performances with his magic and film show Ilusionismo XIX and with the exhibition Artilugios para ilusionar in which he shows original pre-cinematic objects from the 19th century from his collection. It has also published for the first time in history the complete works of Robertson, one of the great precursors of the cinematographic spectacle a hundred years before its invention.
