Michael Laudrup is the best Danish footballer of all time. He got his breakthrough as a footballer for Brøndby, and he signed for Italian giants Juventus in 1983 when he was 19 years old. The first two years in Italy were spent in Lazio on a loan spell. Then he joined Juventus in 1985 where he won the Italian championship. In 1989 he joined Barcelona, and he won both championships and also the European Champions League. In 1994 he joined rivals Real Madrid, and he also won the Spanish championship in the white shirt. In 1996 he joined Vissel Kobe in Japan, but after only one year he returned to Europe joining Dutch Ajax. He won the Dutch double with Ajax in 1998. This was also the year where he ended his career as a footballer, his last match was the World Cup quarter final Denmark-Brazil 2-3, he played his 104th national game for Denmark.
