Michael E. Johnson was born in San Antonio, Texas. Michael moved to Los Angeles shortly after High School where he studied acting under the refined Howard Fine in Hollywood. Michael acted in various independent films while in Los Angeles. Moving back to the Austin area, he produced and acted in several Films on both the West and East coast; as well as the third coast, his home of Texas. His first film company, Saxet Films, was formed with two other talented filmmakers, Javier Chapa and Ryan Brooks. Through Saxet Films, he found success with a short film he produced, wrote, and starred in: 'Happy Hour'.Michael then formed a new production company with a new vision: DoubleThink Productions...'making film that make you think'. Year 2008 was a very successful year as an actor and filmmaker. 'Intervention', a film he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in made the Festival rounds and earned him awards and accolades.2020 looks to be a another great year for Michael as he has signed on with Acclaim Talent and is in pre-production on a film he wrote and will direct...a drama entitled 'Vine Street'.
