Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, raised near Cape Cod here as well as in Mississippi and Oklahoma. He is one of seven children, raised by a single mother, who worked as a waitress. Michael was the only child from his immediate family to graduate from high school where he was a high school quarterback and a wrestler. He later was a walk-on wrestler for one year in college before briefly attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His first theatrical production was in the role of Jimmy in "The Rainmaker". First professional job was participating in western gunfight shows at an amusement park, playing comical and outlaw characters and first union job was in a Chevy Truck commercial. Michael is also an accomplished writer as his first penned screenplay, Little Boy Blue, sold and link=tt0119547], and was released in 1998. The film starred Ryan Phillippe, Nastassja Kinski, John Savage and Emmy and Tony award winner Shirley Knight. Boston left show business and returned 12 years later to continue with renewed passion, producing three award-winning short films Dress Rehearsal, The Guitar and Jesus Rides A Harley serving as writer and director as well.
