Mel Winkler was an African-American actor who played Melvin from Doc Hollywood, the original voice of Aku Aku from Crash Bandicoot, Lucius Fox from The New Batman Adventures, Commissioner Henderson from Superman: The Animated Series, Dr. Simon Harris from The Doctors and Coach White from Coach Carter. Greg Eagles became his successor for the voice of Aku Aku in 2007. He passed away in his sleep on June 2020.
