Medalion Rahimi was born in Los Angeles, California as a first generation Iranian-American. She began modeling at age four but begged her mother to enroll her in music and dance classes instead. She discovered her love for theater and acted in school plays and in local theater companies. After graduating from high school, she attended UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and TV. While at university, she booked starring roles in some of the school productions. She is knows for playing Elody in Before I Fall (2017), Princess Isabella in Shondaland's Still Star-Crossed (2017), and Special Agent Fatima Namazi on 'NCIS: Los Angeles.'
