Born January 30 1992, Matthew Steve Werkmeister is an Australian Film, Television, and Theater Actor. As a child, Matthew appeared Local theater productions, including the Full Monty, for which he was nominated for a Music Theatre Guild of Victoria award. He Gained international acclaim when He landed the lead role of Zeke Kinski on the Tv series Neighbours. Durin his Tenure at Neighbours he was nominated for two Logies. Matthew was on Neighbours for over 5 years, within his time there he became Ambassador for National youth week and Ambassador for missing person week. Matthew also became apart of several short films including the critically acclaimed 'Simon'. After a 2 year hiatus from acting, Mathew was featured in the film 'Little Love stories' He was then Cast in the series Chris & Josh, the series was nominated for multiple Awards, Matthew won the International Academy of Web Television Awards for Best Male Performance in a Comedy. He then hosted the Online Video Awards with Chris & Josh Costar Shane Savage. In 2017 he moved to Los Angeles to further pursue his career. He was awarded a scholarship to Stella Adler Academy Los Angeles where he is currently studying.
