Born in Bridgeport, West Virginia, Matthew Reel is currently residing in Arizona. He developed an interest in films at an early age and had decided to become a filmmaker after being exposed to avant garde and early silent films. Initially focusing his life on the study of music, he later decided to try his hand in multimedia. He has a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Communications with a focus on radio and television. His first film, Oubliette, was an attempt at an experimental silent film in honor of the films that inspired him. Later honing his skills, he has finished his first feature film, Jessicka Rabid.
