Marzio Casa
Marzio Casa was born on Feb 10, 1955 in Italy. Marzio Casa's big-screen debut came with Lobster for Breakfast directed by Giorgio Capitani in 1979.
After studying at DAMS (University of Bologna, Arts Department) he worked as First Assistant Director for Marco Bellocchio Giuliano Montaldo Giorgio Capitani Luciano Odorisio and many others, from 1979 to 1986. Author and co-author of various screenplays for films such as Il mistero del panino assassino (1987) (The Mystery of the killing hamburger) directed by Giancarlo Soldi and the TV film Passi d'amore (1990) (Steps of love) directed by Sergio Sollima for RAI. He has directed several short films for RAI and FININVEST, industrial documentaries and commercial shorts. Ma non per sempre (1991) (But not for ever) was his first feature film. Recently he directed second units for the Italian TV fictions: Incantesimo 4 (2001) Incantesimo 5 (2002) Incantesimo 6 (2003) and Elisa di Rivombrosa (2003)
