He also was a member of The Three Suns instrumental trio for a time. Joining ASCAP in 1950, his numerous popular-song and instrumental compositions include "Rush House", "It's Dawn Again", "A Dream of Love", "Shaga-Shaga-Shuffle", "Busy Holiday", "Moonlight Romance", "Sun Shower", "Story of My Love", and "Carnival in Rome".
