In 1966, he played Dr. Phil Brewer on the daytime soap opera General Hospital (1963), becoming the fifth actor to play the role. In 1965, he was featured in Harper (1966), starring Paul Newman. In 1976, he appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's final feature film, Family Plot (1976).
