Margaret Goodman is an actress/singer whose work has ranged from the leading role of Margaret Civil in Terrence McNally's "A Perfect Ganesh" at Manhattan Theatre Club to operatic roles at New York City Opera, Lincoln Center, as well as appearances on all of the "soap operas" that used to be telecast from New York, primetime and late night television, film, commercials, and countless magazine and newspaper ads. She has done two solo cabaret acts, both of which she researched and created, most recently "Before and After the Ball: Songs from 1886 to 1918", which is available on CD, as well as a recital of American music at the Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace. Her solo theater piece based on material by Dorothy L. Sayers has been performed at several colleges and universities, including Cambridge University in England. A native of Tennessee, she has degrees from Bryn Mawr College and New England Conservatory.
