Marco von Moos was born in Zurich as an only child. Very early in his childhood, he discovered his love for movies and started to make home videos. After finishing his first feature length video project, "Turicon", at the age of 19 - cast and crew being family and friends - the film was entered in several international festivals and has won many prizes, which opened him new opportunities to realise his projects. After the success of "Turicon", Marco founded his own Studio "NoControl Cinema" and started working as a freelancer for special effects and music videos next to school. He continued to work on several shortfilms, such as the dark drama "Rose" or the horror-thriller "Wild Danger".In 2002, von Moos finally got the opportunity to realise his second feature film and work with professional actors from the industry.
