Born to Dr. Baiju.K and Mini Baiju in Kidangoor, Kottayam; Mamitha completed her high school education from Mary Mount Public School & Junior College, Kattachira and went on to pursue her higher secondary education from N.S.S H.S.S, Kidangoor. Before her arrival into film industry, Mamitha was a renowned classical dancer. She has won so many prizes for Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi in state level youth festivals.
