Luke Hupton grew up in the parish of Astley watching classical television shows such as 'The Twilight Zone,' 'The Prisoner,' and 'Twin Peaks.' After being exposed to some of the very best storytellers our world has seen from a very young age, he began writing elaborate stories before picking up a camera for the first time at age 15.He was school at St Mary's Catholic High School, before going on to study Media Moving Image at Walkden Sixth Form Centre and Television and Radio at the University of Salford International, where he specialized in Video Production and Screenwriting.Since graduating in 2011, Luke has worked as an Assistant Creative for The Gate Films and as an Independent Videographer under the banner of his own production company - Lupton Films. In 2013, he received funding for his first feature film, the £15,000 fantasy drama '27, Memory Lane.'In the summer of 2014, Luke was offered a place on the inaugural Curtis Brown Creative Writing course as one of 15 students.As of July 2015, Luke resides in Vancouver, British Columbia where he is studying and working to become an Art Therapist at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute, specializing in stop motion art therapy with children who have experienced trauma.
