Lucien Muratore was a French tenor who was an operatic star for thirty years at the beginning of the twentieth century. He performed in Paris, Boston, Chicago and Buenos Aires, where he took part in works by Massenet, Fauré and Saint-Saëns. Muratore also appeared on several occasions on movie screens, notably with his second wife, Italian soprano Lina Cavalieri. In his first film, produced in the USA, he is The Chevalier Des Grieux.
