Lucas Scheffel is a Director, Producer and Cinematographer based in Melbourne, Australia. His love of moving images has allowed him to travel the globe shooting documentaries, music videos, short and feature films. Lucas graduated from the Flinders University of South Australia in 2003 with a Bachelor Arts Degree with Honours majoring in Screen Studies and American History. His body of work, most notably short films and a micro budget feature film have been released and screened internationally to a wide variety of audiences. In 2009 he won a Bronze award at the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) Awards. In 2012 Lucas won Best Short Film for Captured at the Australian Screen Industry Network Awards (ASIN). 2014 saw Lucas take out the award for Best Foreign Director at the Action on Film International Film Festival for Dead Therapy. In 2016 Lucas signed a 3 year distribution deal for Dead Therapy through Gonella Productions.
