Louise Weard is the Producer behind the award-winning films Cold Wind Blowing (2022), Computer Hearts (2015), and Cuties (2020). Working closely with her partner Dionne Copland, she has served as the Producer and Director of Photography on several of her projects, including the award-winning short films Dionne Copland's Inferno (2016) and Haxx Deadroom: A Cyberpunkzz Story (2018). As a Producer she has worked with several emerging filmmakers on short films in Vancouver, Canada, as well as producing feature-length films from first-time directors Dionne Copland and Joshua Gratton. Her featurette Computer Hearts found critical success within the underground horror community, and was self-distributed world-wide on home video through CyberCraft Video. Since 2013, Louise has worked with home video distributors, genre film festivals, Telefilm Canada, and numerous filmmakers in the pursuit of promoting, preserving, and exhibiting independent film. She graduated with a BFA Double Major in Film Semiotics and Film Production in May 2017, and received scholarships for her hard work and dedication to the Film Studies program and for promoting a love for cinema on campus. In 2021, she wrote and co-directed the short film I Can't Go Home Again with Dionne Copland as her co-director.
