Lisa Rodriguez, producer of the award-winning independent film, BUTTERFLY CAUGHT, brings unique experience to the table. After spending years as an aspiring actress and entrepreneur, she adventured abroad to Costa Rica and built two successful companies regardless of the hurdles and difficulties of surviving in a third world country. After returning to the US, Lisa started the production company, Heckfire Films, with her husband, writer/director/producer Manny Rodriguez, Jr. Together they aim to bring quality films that inspire, challenge and entertain an audience. They're first feature film, BUTTERFLY CAUGHT, won "Best Ensemble Film" at the San Diego International Film Festival, Best US Feature Film at Laughlin International Film Festival, and "Best of Show "at the IndieFest Film Awards in 2017. Lisa is also a mother to three kids and a shaggy dog.
