Lira Angel

Lira Angel was born on Oct 25, 1970 in USA. Lira Angel's big-screen debut came with Deep Cover directed by Bill Duke in 1992. Lira Angel is known for The Streetsweeper directed by James Hill, Paul Michael stars as Enzo Morelli and Michael Cavalieri as Joey. The upcoming new movie Lira Angel plays is Astronaut: The Last Push which will be released on Jun 16, 2016.

Lira was an Economics major in college. On a dare, she and a friend attended the general auditions for Theatre Bay Area. From that audition, Lira landed a leading role, working with award-winning playwright Ed Bullins in a production of "In the Wine Time". It was a life changing moment for Lira - who then changed her major to theatre. She later went on to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Beverly Hills Playhouse. She enjoys all aspects of working in theatre, film and television. Her love for theatre has taken her to the east coast to work in the play "Mothers" a Bill Cosby Comission at Crossroads Theatre, and to the west coast at The Mark Tapper Forum in Los Angeles in the play "Change of Heart". She is a company member of Towne Street Theatre in Los Angeles Ca. Along with spending time with her family, Lira enjoys yoga, gardening, reading and working on her musical projects in her studio.
