Leland Jourdan
Leland Jourdan was born on Aug 11, 1986 in USA. Leland Jourdan's big-screen debut came with The Mark directed by James Chankin in 2012.
Not one to ever allow himself to be put in a box, Jourdan has enjoyed writing stories that break the mold of what a young black writer "usually" does. Spending several years Bangkok, Thailand, Jourdan wrote The Mark and The Mark II for producer Michael Scott which starred Academy Award Nominee Eric Roberts, Craig Sheffer and Sonia Couling. Also while in Asia, Jourdan wrote several other projects that are still in various stages of development. One of them, entitled MORE, was an official selection in the 2013 Beverly Hills Film Festival's Screenplay Competition.Jourdan is a graduate of California State University Northridge's Creative Writing program with a minor in Business. He resides in Houston, TX.
