Leisa moved to Los Angeles, California following graduation from high school. Sheridan sent some test photos to "Playboy" and was chosen from thousands of possible candidates to be the Playmate of the Month in the July, 1993 issue of the famous men's magazine. Moreover, Leisa graced the cover of the October, 1994 Spanish edition of "Playboy." She went on to appear in several "Playboy" videos and posed for a few newsstand special editions. Her sole foray into film acting was a minor part as Katie in the martial arts action thriller "Red Sun Rising."
