Monoson appeared in the film The Last American Virgin (1982), followed three years later with a role in the horror movie Vendredi 13: Chapitre final (1984). Going into the 1990s, Lawrence Monoson mostly found work throughout various television series, including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Beverly Hills (1990), JAG (1995), Les anges du bonheur (1994), Urgences (1994) and Prince Street (1997). As the 21st century arrived, Lawrence continued working mostly on the small screen, with work on Star Trek: Enterprise (2001), Les Experts (2000) and Les experts: Miami (2002). He also co-starred in the direct-to-video sequel Starship troopers 2 - Héros de la fédération (2004).
