Laurie was raised in rural NH and first performed at schools and churches as a singer along with her sister, Donna. In high school she was involved in many extra curricular activities such as track, cheer leading and drama; where she was elected as President of the drama club by her peers. Since Laurie had previously performed with a variety of vocal ranges, she was successful in her role as a male Russian dance instructor (You Can't Take It With You). Laurie's acting career was reborn in 2009 when she acted in a made-for-TV pilot; Destination Matters, as an FBI agent. Some of her performances have been as a hippie psychic, blonde Egyptian, single mom working in a Newspaper office; but her most favorite types of roles are that which include action such as when she was a virus-infected scientist on the rampage (Polypore). Acting in feature films, short films, indie films and Hollywood films, along with work on commercials, advertisements for novels, and voice overs; Laurie is loving her professional acting career and resides with her family in Southern NH.
