Lauren grew up in the entertainment business, as a professional musical theater performer in her hometown of Chicago, turned mini Streisand and then Disney kid. She played the Young Barbra in Barbra Streisand's "Timeless" Tour, duet-ing with Streisand on the stages of Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, stadiums in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, and on the Colombia Records multi-platinum album. From there, she was a lead in Disney Channel's "Even Stevens", starring Shia LaBeouf.Lauren has extensive comedy experience, in writing and performance. Her scripts have been featured on Buzzfeed, Daily Motion, Funny or Die, College Humor, the LAFF Network and more. A graduate of Second City Hollywood and Upright Citizens Brigade, she's a main stage sketch comedy and improvisational actor who's original shows have been featured on the Comedy Central Stage, iO West, UCB, Chicago Sketch Fest, among others. Winner of Best Scripted Show at the Del Close Awards, Finalist at the LA Scripted Comedy Fest, and Winner at the LA Improv Festival. Additionally, Lauren Co-Created and Executive Produced Funny Women Fest, the only all womxn comedy festival in Los Angeles featuring celebrity and indie comedians, supported by some of the most influential people in the entertainment industry.As a vocalist and songwriter, Lauren has been featured at the Hollywood Bowl, the Kennedy Center, Heinz Hall, The American Film Institute, Double Door, and Hotel Cafe. She's voiced commercials and jingles for brands including Crest, State Farm, Disney, and Hal Leonard Publishing.
