Lara Jean Marshall was born on Jul 30, 1988 in UK. Lara Jean Marshall's big-screen debut came with The Saddle Club - Season 1 directed by Larry Jacobs in 2001.

Born in England, Lara began her professional acting and singing career at the age of 9, gaining a part in the revered Cameron Mackintoshs' 10th Anniversary production of Les Miserables, playing the part of 'Young Eponine'. At 11 she landed the lead role of 'Lisa Atwood' in the ABC's Logie nominated International Children's Series, The Saddle Club. This was extremely successful which carried on to a second series and Lara then began performing live to massive audiences throughout Australia and New Zealand. Her singing achieved three Gold Records through the release of albums related to the series, and the albums were nominated for ARIA awards. She performed live at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and Melbourne's Equitana Show, The Mane Event Spectacular. Lara has performed numerous voice overs and TV/radio advertisements for McDonalds, The Tsunami Appeal, Toshiba, The Herald Sun, and for an animated game. She appeared in Channel 9's Waiting at the Royal, and has been a guest star on Newton's Good Morning Australia; The Today Show; the ABC's Creature Features; ABC Live; ;The Big Arvo, Hot Source and performed at the David Jones Christmas Parade; The Greater Geelong Baton Relay; Movieland's Outback Spectacular and the Gold Coast Children's Expo. The Saddle Club is also an international success and Lara has worked in Europe on the Italian Children's television program and magazine, Sorrissi . She was also a regular writer for 'Total Girl' magazine for many years. Lara's philanthropic work has included being a Patron for Riding for the Disabled and the Starlight Foundation, Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. Lara completed the Foundation Musical Theatre Course at VCA, and her Diploma from Sydney Theatre School. She furthered her experience with a Directors course and a Presenting to Camera course at NIDA. She then achieved her Bachelor of Dramatic Arts degree at VCA, being offered many lead roles such as Michelle in Michael Gurr's Underwear, Perfume and Crash helmets, Mae in Maria Irene Forne's Mud, Hermione in Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale and Olivia in St Kilda Tales. Since graduation Lara has obtained Australian and International agents, and continues her acting experiences with involvement in regular renowned international acting classes and workshops. Her career has taken Lara to Vancouver, where she had many successes and now she currently lives in LA, working between LA and Australia. More recently she has attended Screenworks The Business Of Producing workshop and writing workshops at Writing Pad which has inspired her to widen her horizons to producing and creating, and has written and developed two new projects for two different television series. She has worked in various short films and television shows including The Doctor Blake Mysteries ABC (January Films) a series which stars Craig MacLachlan and Nadine Garne. This year the TV series and movie "We Were Tomorrow" is released and Lara stars in one of the leading roles as the villain Georgia-May Ford, alongside Gyton Grantley, Nikolai Nikolaeff, Chris Kirby and Alicia Banit and Madeleine Kennedy. She can deliver US and British dialects.
