Ladan Sahraei is an Iranian-Canadian actress and Director. She is Persian. She is the first Deaf filmmaker in Iran. She has directed 6 short films and got few awards for her achievement in Iran. She settles in Vancouver, British Columbia, from Tehran, Iran in July 2014. From what she has seen in Canada and there seems a lacking enthusiasm of for biography for the Deaf in Canada. It is her first time making a documentary film Dunham Deaf Boy in Canada. She lives in Vancouver, Canada.
