Klaus Voormann

Klaus Voormann was born on Apr 29, 1938 in Germany. Klaus Voormann's big-screen debut came with Son of Dracula directed by Freddie Francis in 1973, strarring The Count Downes.

Klaus Voormann is most famous for designing the cover of the 1966 Beatles album "Revolver" and for playing bass guitar on John Lennon's "Imagine" album. Voormann dated famous photographer Astrid Kirchherr until she fell in love with The Beatles' original bassist, Stuart Sutcliffe, and left him. He first met The Beatles at a gig in Hamburg. He appeared in the 1980 live action version of Popeye (1980).
