Writer-director, editor and cinematographer Khachatur Martirosyan found his path leading towards filmmaking while working as a freelance reporter for Reuters TV.Khachatur was born on November 15, 1984 in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR [now Armenia].In 2014 Khachatur Martirosyan earned his Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in filmmaking from New York Film Academy - Los Angeles Campus.First short Martirosyan shot in United States was a criminal thriller Seven Thirty PM (2014). The premiere took place in Los Angeles at Warner Bros. Studios.The idea of moving from news reporting to a creative field of filmmaking came when in 2011 he made his first Music Video 'L'Appuntamento'.The same year he worked as an assistant to Mr. Vigen Chaldranyan, a director of a feature movie 'The Voice of Silence' released in US in 2012.In 2012 Khachatur Martirosyan made his first short 'Imagination'.During 65th Cannes Film Festival, Khachatur participated at Cannes film festival market where he pitched a feature movie project 'Forgive Me'.In 2013 he shot a documentary film 'Lost Legacy' about one of prominent oil tycoons of 20th century Alexander Mantashev and his family.Khachatur also holds Master's degree in Cinematography earned from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography in 2013.
