Kerem Topuz

Kerem Topuz was born on Oct 01, 1978 in Turkey. Kerem Topuz's big-screen debut came with Kanunsuzlar directed by Baris Ercetin in 2014.

Kerem Topuz was trained in Akademi Istanbul for Cinema and TV between 1996-98. In 2011, he was awarded with prizes in the international arena by means of such feature length motion picture titled "Film" which he shot under improvisation technique. In 2013, the book he wrote on motion picture theory was published from Altikirkbes Publications under the title of 'Improvised Filmmaking'. He acted as Cinema Department Head under Akademi Istanbul. He organized seminars at various universities on 'Improvised Cinema and Guerilla Cinematography'. In 2014, the motion picture titled 'Lawless' as a script writer was released to theater houses. In 2018, he wrote and directed his new movie 'Lavinya'.
