Kenneth Paul Irwin II, known as tha K-MAN to the music world, was born December 9, 1981 in Biloxi, MS. He is the son of a plumber, whom he was named after, and Janet Caldwell. Kenneth's father was of Irish, Scottish and Northwestern European decent, and Kenneth's mother of possible Iberian & Southern European decent. At less than a year old, Kenneth lost most use of his left side due to an accident that sent his head colliding into a hard table. Throughout life, however, he would learn to gain partial use back. After his parent's marriage dissolved when he was two years of age, Kenneth would live with his father, who raised him, with the help of Kenneth Sr's parents, until after high school. Though they would stay connected, the bond was not as strong with Kenneth and his mother as it was between him and his paternal grandparents.Throughout his schooling, though shy and mostly quiet, Kenneth never had trouble making friends. He would, however keep his connections small. Always attracted to some sort of art, he took art classes every year of high school. It was in his final year of high school, while taking a randomly picked "Creative Writing" class, Kenneth would discover his love of creating and writing stories, poems, and music. It would be three years after graduating from Biloxi High, that he tried his first attempt of book publishing. Though it was eventually a failed attempted, after the publisher owner committed a fraud against the publishing company, Kenneth never gave up on the creative process. Eventually, in 2009, Kenneth would self-publish another story of his, entitled "Wild Run". The book would be released worldwide, with sales as far in the UK and Malaysia. It would not be until 2010 that Kenneth would fall into the world of film making. It was after being invited to film behind the scenes footage for a local indie artist's music video that his talent behind the camera was near impeccable. With the love of Kenneth's footage, he would later be asked to do filming for the artist's other music videos. That moment would be the door opener for future video work for Kenneth, including a music commercial for the now defunct Taiwan clothing company, Kiismet. Most earlier works, starting in 2010, would be under a company name, of his founding, known as K2 Visuals. After moving to Portland, Oregon in 2015, the name would be changed to Breaking Boundaries Enterprises.Kenneth is no stranger to being in front of the camera, either. In 2012, with the release of his first ever hip-hop/rap single, "Calm Before the Storm" (under the stage name of tha K-MAN), Kenneth would write, direct, star, and produce his own music video for the song. The video idea came from a partial film script he had wrote two years prior. He would once again go in front of the camera for his first documentary that he directed and produced, "Veterans UnAffairs: The Frank Gann Story". The documentary, about a local Veteran, and Kenneth's video mentor, was released, online, on Veteran's Day of 2014.He would also make quick appearances, as an extra, in Adley Stump's 2014 music video, "Like This", "ESPN College Game Day" 2013 commercial, which included Big and Rich, Cowboy Troy, and Lzzy Hale, and the 2016 "Oregon Fair" commercial.Kenneth, under the stage name of tha K-MAN, has released a six song album, plus multiple singles. Though all his songs have a personal touch, be it self experiences or those he witnessed of other people, Kenneth's most personal song was "Final Good-bye". The 2016 song was written by Kenneth, and dedicated to his father, who passed away in 2014 of a drug overdose. It was his way of saying the good-bye that he never got to express in real life. The song also spoke on two other times in Kenneth's life as well- Including the lose of a good friend, and a girlfriend. In the Holiday Season of 2018, Kenneth would release his first Christmas instrumental, "Timeless Memory".
