Raised in Colorado, Kelsey modeled through high school. After moving to New York post-graduation to attend NYU, she decided to forego college to continue modeling pursuits internationally. When she met and married Michael Tardio in 1995, she began studying theater and transitioned into acting. She relocated to Los Angeles in 1998, then pregnant with second child, daughter, Riley. Michael was tragically killed in 2002.Kelsey continued acting until 2006, when an injury resulted in extensive reconstructive ankle surgery, putting a halt to her acting career. She went on to practice real estate and flips homes for three years, before she and (then partner) Grant Gottfurcht opened YogaCo (then the largest yoga studio / teacher training facility in the country) in 2009, on the Santa Monica Promenade.Kelsey moved back to Colorado in 2011, to be closer to her extended Colorado family, who all reside in ColoradoShe now works as an executive assistant at an a tech company in Denver, and has three children, Lucas, 24, Riley, 22, and Tyler, 9.
