Katerina Winterova was born on 12th February in Benesov. She is a Czech actress, permanent member of the National Theatre in Prague and singer of a band The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa.She was born in Benesov and her childhood spent in Melnik. In years 1990-1996 she attended musical drama department at the Prague conservatory. She played during her studies in Under Palmovka theatre. She appeared as a guest in 1996-1998 in Klicpera theatre in Hradec Králové and in the National Theatre (in plays Romance for Bugle and Wandering). Since 1998 she is in constant engagement in the National Theatre. In 2002 she receives a price Angel in the category of Singer of the year.Katerina is since 1998 singer of The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa. The band in one if the long-standing cult bands on the border of electronic, indie and ambivalent music. Together with Jan P. Muchow released 3 studio albums and footage from live performance.
