Kate Danley accidentally began her acting career because the middle school French class was full and she was bumped into the theater arts. During her twenty-year theatrical career, she amassed over 240 credits to her name in stage, puppetry, film, and television. She is a member of the Acme Comedy Improv and Sketch troupes in Los Angeles, California, where she was nominated for Best Line of the Year, Best Character of the Year, and Most Valuable Player in both sketch and improv. Her other sketch group, Hair of the Mangy Dog, was an official selection of the Los Angeles Comedy Festival. She played the Godmother in "Blake... da Musical!", which won the Ovation award for Best New Musical of the Year in 2005. She also originated the role of Stephanie Hicks in "R.R.R.E.D. the Musical", which has been nominated for four 2008 LA Weekly Awards. She also tours with Pozuki Puppetry.
