Kat Hawks is an American actress, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. Kat has appeared in TV, independent film, and notable video games. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, to a New Zealand father, doctor and champion athlete, and white Russian emigre mother, Kat grew up in the U.K. and Europe. A teenage athletic champion, Kat received a Bachelor of Arts in Russian at the University of London, UCL, SSEES, eventually leading her to Moscow, Russia, where she created a very successful advertising agency. One of Kat's passions is ballet, and she took her first class at the age of 27 in Los Angeles with Joyce Vanderveen - Ann Frank's favorite ballerina.Kat is developing her grandmother's published diaries into a screenplay from the book "Russian at Heart".
