Karel Michal

Karel Michal was born on Dec 28, 1932 in Czechoslovakia. Karel Michal's big-screen debut came with Bílá paní directed by Zdenek Podskalský in 1965. Karel Michal is known for Cest a sláva directed by Hynek Bocan, Rudolf Hrusínský stars as Rynda and Karel Höger as Donovalsky. The upcoming new movie Karel Michal plays is Cest a sláva which will be released on Jan 24, 1969.

Writer of humorous short stories and film scripts. Left Czechoslovakia after the Russian invasion in 1968 and went to live in Switzerland, where he died in 1984. His best known collection of short stories is Gypsova Dama (The Plaster Lady, 1967). His short stories Rodny Kraj (Native Region) was published in Cologne in 1977.
