They share a strong bond that has only gotten stronger as they've traveled through life together -- they both attended the same schools Coconut Grove Elementary, South Miami Middle and Immaculata-LaSalle High School as well as the same college - Loyola University New Orleans and both competed together on Big Brother 17.When Julia and Liz were put up on the block together they both were devastated and both were willing to sacrifice their game so the other could go ahead. Julia seeing how perceptions in the house were more favorable towards Liz as a competitor than her sacrificed her game for her sister.Julia's sacrifice wasn't in vain as Liz managed to survive to the end and came 2nd winning $50,000.
