Judy Thompson
Judy Thompson was born on May 20, 1967 in USA. Judy Thompson's big-screen debut came with Teach Me Tonight directed by Rick Blaine in 1997.
Judy Thompson, born Nilda Judith Thompson in San Mateo, Ca. was raised very much a love child of the 60's by her older sister and mom. Judy's home life was eclectic and free-spirited and often filled with likes of bikers, fortune tellers and local musicians. As a child Judy loved the theatre and became a member of the local community playhouse at 8.Judy's first film experience was as an uncredited bikini model on Richard Benjamin's, "Made in America". The experience motivated Judy to continue her dramatic studies and in 1997 landed her first lead screen role in the sexy, Cinemax film "Teach me Tonight", as the sweet & sensual "Janey", showcasing Judy's screen presence, gaining her a small and loyal fan base. Not willing to be pigeoned holed into a slew of films of the same tone, Judy rejected numerous film offers and headed back to San Francisco to focus on her craft. She made "The Shelton Studios" her new theatre home and starred under the direction of Matt Shelton in several plays, including playing the frigid "Prudence" in Christopher Durangs',"Beyond Therapy."Focused on broadening her talents, Judy starred in over 20 independent films, often being cast as characters twisted and deeply flawed. In 2006, she joined forces with talent agent Joan Spangler of "Look Talent", known for representing the late Anna Nicole Smith during her early rise to fame. The new union added modeling and commercial credits to Judy's resume.Judy's Bohemian upbringing allowed for interesting social networking. Cooking spaghetti for Mike Patton and the band Mr. Bungle one night, then attending opening night of the S.F. Opera and making the front page of the Chronicle's "Datebook"section, the next.In 2008 Judy made the big move to Los Angeles on the advice from her close friend, Alan Spencer, writer & creator of the 80's hit show, "Sledge Hammer." He claimed, "If you were living here doll, you'd be working."In 2010 Judy was cast as a non sex actress to play the lead, a complex and emotionally layered lesbian in a Digital Playground all female erotic series, written & directed by Kay Brandt. "Cherry", the Jewelbox Series is due out April 26th, 2011 and is will be released under R and Xxx ratings. Behind the Scenes of "Cherry", can be viewed on Digital Playground. Judy continues to work as a non union actress and model in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.
