Scarborough born dancer / actress Judy started dancing lessons at the age of 5 at a local academy at the age of 5 and later trained at the Royal Academy and Grandison College. Her first big break came at 18 performing at the Casino De Paris and later danced in Italy and at the London Palladium, In London she had a role in the musical 'Cabaret'. Her greatest dance triumph was as 'Judy', the second lead in the New York Shakespeare production of a 'Chorus Line' at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Away from the theatre she presented the childrens television programme 'Playaway' and featured in numerous television commercials. Her parents, Nicky and Len Gridley ran the Ravenhall Hotel at Ravenscar near Scarborough.
