JT grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut. He had a passion for acting from a young age and found himself pursuing it at the age of 18 during high school by performing in school plays. Later, He spent some time traveling to New York for acting classes. He studied at Eastern Connecticut State University before moving to Los Angeles in 2004. He has been with the Howard Fine Acting Studio for the past several years. His most recent credits are the male lead in Daughtry's music video, "No Surprise," and the troubled bank employee in award-winning film, $lowdown (2011). He has performed in numerous films and appeared on the TV show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000). In January 2012, JT and his brother, Damon, announced the launch of their production company, Route 17 Entertainment, which will be producing three independent features back to back with them playing the lead roles.
