Joshua Conkel is a playwright, author, and screenwriter. Though born in Eastern Kentucky, he was raised as a Navy brat and moved around often as a child. His family eventually settled in Washington State, where Joshua attended Cornish College of the Arts where he first began to write plays. His work has been produced all over the world. In television, Joshua has been a writer for Netflix's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina". His original screenplay, "Cold Spell" was optioned by Miramax in 2018 and his short film, "Curmudgeons" (directed by Danny DeVito) has been a hit at film festivals around the world.
