Jordan Downey
Jordan Downey was born on May 16, 1986 in USA. Jordan Downey's big-screen debut came with Craw Lake directed by Jordan Downey in 2007.
Jordan Downey is a writer and director from Ohio, and no stranger to the horror community. While in college, he was an intern under Wes Craven and broke onto the scene with his first feature, the cult horror film ThanksKilling. The success of ThanksKilling spawned a fan-funded sequel, ThanksKilling 3, and ThanksKilling: The Musical which toured to sold-out crowds. In the years since, his shorts Techno Western and Critters: Bounty Hunter earned praise amongst fans and genre outlets alike, but it was his third feature The Head Hunter which elevated the filmmaker to new heights. The medieval horror film won multiple awards on the festival circuit before landing a worldwide release from Vertical Entertainment. The film opened atop rental charts and holds a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes where critics praised its minimalist storytelling. "I can only imagine the staggering vision Jordan Downey and his team will concoct next" says Rue Morgue Magazine.
