Joram Lürsen (Amstelveen, Augustus 11th 1963) is a Dutch Film and Television director. He graduated from the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam in 1990 with his film, De finales (1990) (aks "The Finals"). De finales (1990) won a Mention DE Qualite at the Cesars, (the French Oscars). Lürsen directed several TV series for Dutch television: All stars: De serie (1999), Vuurzee (2005), Baantjer (1995), Flodder (1993) en 'Jules Unlimited': Also, he directed the films Mijn franse tante Gazeuse (1996) (aka "My French Aunte Gazeuze") en In Oranje (2004) (aka "In Orange"). The family film, In Oranje (2004) (In Orange), received a Golden Film Award for reaching 100.000 visitors and won international awards at film festivals in Hamburg, Esfahan, Kristiansand, Pozna, Rimouski and Los Angeles. His most recent project, the romantic comedy, Alles is liefde (2007) (English title: All is Love), received, within nine weeks, a Diamond Film for welcoming 1.000.000 visitors. It is one of the twelve most visited films in The Netherlands, ever!
