Jon Peterson - or Jon J Peterson (when doing SAG work) - is a British actor who has appeared both in independent movies and theatre in the USA and in the UK. Some of his US work includes his portrayal of the Emcee in San Mendes' two revivals of "Cabaret", on Broadway and National Tours in 2000 and again in 2017 and his 2006 off-Broadway portrayal of American musical legend George M Cohan, in "George M Cohan Tonight!", for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award; the filmed version birthing in the fall of 2021. Also of note, his portrayal of the late Anthony Newley in the musical stage bio, "He Wrote Good Songs", for which he was also credited as the writer. A modest 'cult' movie, "Anna Ballerina" in 1988, started his infrequent movie appearances, starring alongside the beautiful yet ultimately tragic German actress, Silvia Seidel. Jon leads a quiet life and while the work is his passion, the networking is not...
