Born in Radford, Virginia, John lived in a rural setting for most of his youth. In school he pursued Mechanical Engineering and used this knowledge for many years while working for Corning Incorporated at their Blacksburg Virginia, and Corning New York locations.Also, John spent 13 months in Shanghai China, working for Corning. That experience left an indelible mark on his personality. Traveling the world gave John the tools to draw on as a character actor. His work began in Radio while in College on WUVT the Virginia Tech radio station and he went on to work in local rock and country stations after college. John spent 11 years working with the public in the retail sector before being able to use his engineering knowledge with Corning. John Left Corning in 2001 due to his Diabetes and found acting to be his future. Working predominantly in Horror at first, John gained many credits with small Independant film companies. John has played in many Genres. Horror, Comedy and Drama have been the most rewarding and some commercial work John's fascination with modern and ancient weapons has also become a part of his movie resume. He has modified many of his firearms to fire blanks for the movies and has taken responsibility for the safety o the actors on set when weapons are in use. Learning special effects and pyrotechnics has filled out his resume.
