João Pires

João Pires was born on Jan 11, 1978 in Portugal. João Pires's big-screen debut came with Balas & Bolinhos directed by Luis Ismael in 2001, strarring Bino.

He was born in Senegal and lived his childhood in several different African countries, including Mali, Burkina Faso and Chad. After that, João Pires moved to Europe and became a painter and an artist in Viena, Ljubljana and other cities in central Europe. Presently he lives in Trnava, in western Slovakia.
