Jing Wu

Jing Wu was born on Apr 03, 1974 in China. Jing Wu's big-screen debut came with Tai Chi II directed by Hsin-Yen Chang in 1996, strarring Hawkman / Hok Man / Jackie (as Jacky Wu). Jing Wu is known for The Wandering Earth II directed by Frant Gwo, Andy Lau stars as Tu Hengyu and Jing Wu as Liu Peiqiang. Jing Wu has got 24 awards and 28 nominations so far. The most recent award Jing Wu achieved is China Film Critics Association Award. The upcoming new movie Jing Wu plays is Meg 2: The Trench which will be released on Aug 04, 2023.

Born in Beijing China in 1974, he was sent to train at Beijing Wushu Academy when he was 6 years old as both his Father and Grandfather were also Martial artists. In 1995 he was spotted by Yuen Woo-Ping who had come to the academy to look for a martial artist for the film Tai Chi 2 (aka Tai Chi Boxer). His dedication and skill won his a lot of respect across East Asia. Often contributing to the scripts and choreography of his work, his natural talent and his sense of humour are vividly expressed.
