Stafford has his own theater in Branson, Missouri, since 1990, and still performs there three nights a week. He is self-taught on guitar, fiddle, piano, banjo, organ and harmonica.He was the supervising writer for "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour", which aired on NBC in 1988.
