Growing up in Silver Spring, Maryland, Jerome Bourgeois has been engrossed in filmmaking since the age of twelve. In middle school he made award-winning animations including the "The Bank Heist." During high school he continued to improve his filmmaking skills by enrolling in public access cable television classes at MCT (Montgomery Community Television) gaining certification in directing, producing, camera operating, and editing, and directing and producing several shows that aired on MCT.While attending New York University, he has written, produced, and directed several projects including his first narrative short film, "Love is Relative," "Akon Makes a Video" (which aired on MTV three times), a 15 second spot for hip-hop artist Erick Sermon which aired on BET several times (Jerome also did the voice-over), and the Behind-the-Scenes street DVD for upcoming R&B artist Yummy Bingham, signed to Universal Motown Records Group.He is currently working on his latest film, "Horoscope" while working on various other projects for the music editor of Vibe magazine, Democracy Now, KPI, Muzic Park, Universal Motown Records Group, Swagger, and other clients.
