Jennie Mac

Jennie Mac was born on Jan 19, 1878 in Russia. Jennie Mac's big-screen debut came with Whistling in the Dark directed by S. Sylvan Simon in 1941.

Jennie Mac began her acting career at the age of 53 after the death of her husband. Her daughter Aline MacMahon, a well-known film and stage actress encouraged her mother's new career. Jennie Mac studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She often appeared in the films of her nephew director S. Sylvan Simon. She died just weeks before her 107th birthday.
